Donate your old rugby kits and football boots to our campaign ‘Kits for Kumuls’ in PNG!

Help us collect and deliver thousands of cleaned up, pairs of used football boots and rugby kits for the children and adults of Papua New Guinea, in association with the Menzie Yere Foundation and Sheffield Eagles RLFC.

Kits2Kids supports the creation of opportunities for all young people to become involved in Rugby League, should that be as a player, match official, administrator or other capacity. It provides equal opportunities for boys and girls and seeks to establish opportunities within the young person community.

Our Appeal provides a great and monumental initiative for the game of rugby to give something back and help improve the lives of many less privileged children."

Papua New Guinea is the only country where Rugby League is the National Sport. It is also classed as a third world country.

WHY MENZIE YERE?

Last year Menzie (Sheffield Eagles hard-hitting centre) bought two pairs of rugby boots every month and posted them back to PNG, for players less fortunate than himself. At the end of the season, he begged and also bought shirts to take back to PNG, to give to the people of his country.

From these simple gestures and holding conversations with Menzie, it became apparent that we could all do a lot to help this third world country to develop further.

Menzie received the award of sports personality 2008 for PNG and is known extremely well within his country.
